Globalization Partners review 2026: pricing, verdict & alternatives
Verdict
G-P is a long-established EOR for mid-market and enterprise teams that want broad HR integrations, from $599 per employee per month in 180+ countries; skip it if price per head decides it or you need owned entities confirmed upfront.

What is Globalization Partners?
G-P (Globalization Partners) is an employer of record that says it can hire in 180+ countries, from $599 per employee per month, with contractor management from $39. It was founded in 2012 by Nicole Sahin and is based in Boston.
G-P is one of the oldest names in the category, and its price sits at the upper end of the range on this site: level with Deel and Atlas, below Remote and Oyster at $699. Our verdict is that it suits larger teams that want a long-established provider with a broad HR integration list, and that smaller teams paying per head will find the same core service for less.
The review covers what G-P publishes on price, coverage, integrations and security, what users say, and which situations point to a different provider. G-P rates 4.4 on G2 from 1,071 reviews and 4.3 on Trustpilot from 147.
G-P, short for Globalization Partners, is an employer of record (EOR): it becomes the legal employer of your staff in countries where you have no entity, and runs their contracts, payroll, benefits and local compliance while you direct the work. G-P says it can hire in 180+ countries and pay in 150+ currencies.
The company was founded in 2012 by Nicole Sahin, who returned as CEO in 2023, and it is based in Boston. It sells three products: G-P EOR, G-P Contractor for paying independent contractors, and G-P Gia, an AI tool that answers HR and compliance questions.
How G-P employs people
G-P does not say on its EOR page whether it employs through its own entities or local partners. Its homepage mentions "200+ global partners". If the legal employer matters to you, ask G-P to name the employing entity for each country in writing.
What this means for you: G-P covers the same ground as the other large EOR platforms. The questions to settle before signing are the employing entity in your countries and the price after any volume discount.

How much does Globalization Partners cost?
Globalization Partners pricing starts from $599 per employee/month for employer of record and $39 per contractor/month for contractors. That fee is the smallest part of what a team costs. At the starting fee, a team of 5 in Germany at $60,000 each costs about $398,534 in the first year through Globalization Partners: $300,000 in salaries, $62,594 in Germany statutory employer contributions and $35,940 in Globalization Partners fees. Another country produces a different total, because the statutory employer costs are set locally.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Employer of record | $599per employee/month |
| Contractors | $39per contractor/month |

What a team of 5 in 🇩🇪 Germany, at $60,000 each, costs through Globalization Partners
The headline fee is the smallest line. Here is the estimated first-year total for the team.
| Base salaries5 × $60,000 | $300,000 |
| Statutory employer contributionsGermany employer rate, ~20.9% | $62,594 |
| Globalization Partners EOR feestarting fee $599/mo × 5 × 12 | $35,940 |
| Estimated all-in annual cost | $398,534 |
Estimate only. Statutory rates are Germany employer contributions (2025 data) on gross salary; caps, benefits, 13th-month pay and provider quotes vary. Globalization Partners's published fee is a starting price and the fee for Germany can be higher, so ask for that country's quote. Run your own numbers before budgeting.
Before you sign, ask Globalization Partners to confirm in writing
Undocumented fees only bind the provider once they are on paper. Where we have found a published figure it is named below; where we have not, ask for the number.
- In writing: whether a security deposit is required, how many months, and when it is refunded. We found no figure for it on Globalization Partners's own pages when we last looked in September 2026.
- In writing: the FX markup applied when payroll is funded in your currency. We found no figure for it on Globalization Partners's own pages when we last looked in September 2026.
- In writing: what offboarding or termination costs when an employee leaves. We found no figure for it on Globalization Partners's own pages when we last looked in September 2026.
- In writing: any one-time setup or onboarding fees per employee. We found no figure for it on Globalization Partners's own pages when we last looked in September 2026.
- In writing: the minimum contract term and what early exit costs. We found no figure for it on Globalization Partners's own pages when we last looked in September 2026.
What this means for you
Globalization Partners publishes a starting fee, and the fee for a given country can be higher, so ask for that country's quote. What changes most country by country is everything around it: the $62,594 of statutory contributions for this team in Germany is set by Germany, not by Globalization Partners, and you pay it whichever employer of record you choose. Compare providers on the fee and on what the fee includes, then run the total again for each country you hire in.
Which teams should choose Globalization Partners?
Tell us four things about your team and we will tell you what we would do in that situation. The answer comes from the same seven situations we put every provider through, so this review and the next one are judged the same way.
Cheapest compliant option
From $599 per employee per month, the upper end of the range.
For this situation we would look at RemoFirst first. That is a better fit for what you described, not a better provider.
Should you choose Globalization Partners?
Our call for seven common situations, from the same documented criteria we apply to every provider. Where a competitor fits better, we link our review of it.

|---|---|---|---|
| Remote-first, hiring employees in 5+ countries | Consider | Broad coverage and published prices; confirm the employing entity per country. | Remote reviewRemoFirst review |

| Mid-market, around 250 employees | Choose it | HR integrations with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and UKG, and volume discounts on the EOR fee. | Multiplier review |
| US-only startup, under 50 people | Look elsewhere | An EOR is the wrong construct for US-only hiring; a domestic payroll product costs a fraction. | Remote reviewDeel review |

| Regulated industry, compliance first | Consider | SOC 2 Type II, but no published ISO 27001 or entity list; get both in writing. | Remote review |
When not to use Globalization Partners
Budget decides it.
From $599 per employee per month, G-P sits at the upper end; RemoFirst starts at a published $199.
You need owned entities confirmed upfront.
G-P does not publish its entity model; Remote employs through legal entities it owns.
You only pay contractors.
If classification risk is the worry, Deel's Contractor of Record takes it on.

What do Globalization Partners users say on review platforms?
Globalization Partners is rated on 3 independent review platforms that we neither run nor can edit. We read them as the record of what living with Globalization Partners is actually like, which is a different question from the one our own score answers. Read the review counts with some care: providers can ask their happiest customers for a review, and some run incentives to get them.
| Platform | Rating | Reviews | Who is rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| G2 | 4.4 / 5 | 1,071 | Customers |
| Trustpilot | 4.3 / 5 | 147 | Customers |
| Capterra | 4.5 / 5 | 65 | Customers |
Across 1,283 customer reviews, the weighted average is 4.4 out of 5. This is separate from our score and comes straight from each platform.
What this means for you
G2, Trustpilot, Capterra rate Globalization Partners 4.4 out of 5 across 1,283 reviews. We do not run those sites and we cannot edit them. We score it 4.4. Customers rate what they live with, like whether payroll runs on time and whether support picks up. We also score what they never deal with, like whether the price is published and how many countries we checked ourselves. If the two are far apart, that is your question for the sales call.

A dash in the last column means we have not assessed that provider against these seven situations yet, not that we rejected it. G2 ratings carry their review count, because a 5.0 from a few dozen reviews and a 4.7 from several thousand are not the same evidence. Country counts are the ones we have verified, so a provider built for one region shows a low number by design rather than as a weakness.
